Take Action on Forest Collapse

What You Can Do Nationally

Write to the Minister of Conservation, Maggie Barrie and Northland MPs, Dr Shane Reti, Kelvin Davis and Winston Peters and urge them to support greater funding for multi-species pest control across Northland and for the Government to step up across the country and commit to multi-species pest control over 5 million hectares nationally. This means DOC needs extra funding!

What You Can Do In Northland

You can do your bit to help Northland’s native forests and threatened species recover from collapse. There are organizations ready to help with advice, funding and pest control tools. You begin to see the difference even with one year of multi-species pest control. And over a few years of multi-species pest control, trees start coming back to life and bird numbers begin to increase.

Depending on how the land you want to look after is owned, you’ll need to contact the right organisation for the best course of action.
